The RNCM Big Band
The June 2023 RNCM Big Band feat. Dave Hassell was my first experience of the RNCM Big Band and was an overwhelming success both among the band maembers and the audience. With a heavy emphasis on latin rhythms and tunes an underappreciated world of jazz was opened up and explored extensively.

The December 2023 RNCM Big Band feat. Dennis Rollins was an incredible triumph amongst musicians and audience members alike. Dennis is a professional trombone player with an international reputation for his prowess in jazz and swing music. The influence that he brought to the performance was undeniable and helped to elevate the performance even further.

The RNCM Big Band will perform again later this year, June 27th in the Opera Theatre of the Royal Northern College of Music. This next performance will feature Sara Dowling, an incredibly talented vocalist and leading woman.
